We felt very fortunate to have Ed Geary Construction handle the remodel of our home in Marin County. Ed was the consummate professional with a deep knowledge of the ins and outs of complex jobs like ours which involved an older home on the water with many unique challenges that needed to be overcome to be modernized and brought up to code. Ed was extraordinarily focused on getting the job done right in terms of both the structural engineering and fine craftsmanship for outstanding safety, comfort, and aesthetics. He and his team including very fine subs, were a joy to work with on a personal level, and clearly cared a great deal about ensuring that we were satisfied with every detail of the work they did. I have had Ed Geary working on my properties for over 25 years. I have never used anyone else since I know Ed will always do an excellent job on time and at a fair price. He is 100 percent reliable and deeply ethical and honest. I have never had a single issue with the work he has done or the price he has charged.
My first project with Ed was to perform all the TI work on my 55,000 square foot commercial building in Petaluma. It was a large, complicated project that he pulled off in amazing time and with high quality. There have been no issues with his work after 22 years and I have hired him to perform all maintenance or improvements on all my buildings. No matter what the issue, Ed is always able to get it repaired quickly. On top of that, Ed has a plethora of contacts in the construction industry that can perform any work that I need done from electrical to HVAC. All his contacts are as dependable and professional as he is.
Due to my extreme confidence in Ed, I have put him in contact with my cousin who is a well – respected structural engineer (WBC Structural Engineers). My cousin has been so impressed with Ed that he has referred Ed on numerous complex jobs such as building marinas to earthquake retrofits. Ed also built his house which says a lot. Ed has basically become the contractor for the family since he has performed a huge retrofit for my mother’s home. She was also beyond pleased with his work and she is very particular.
Lastly, Ed built my personal pride and joy garage for my collector cars. The garage was a huge project since it needed to be of museum quality to house my collection. Ed had to go through numerous changes as I constantly wanted to add features and fine touches. In the end he built a beautiful building that proudly displays my collection. On top of that he built a 1,000 square foot apartment that I decided to add on mid build.
In my opinion, the construction profession is full of questionable characters. I feel blessed to have found Ed and consider him a friend and confidant. He has reduced a lot of stress in my life and has always been there when I needed him. He, in a sense, has become a member of the family and I could not have a higher recommendation of him.

I first met Ed Geary of Geary construction in 2007. I was in the middle of a major marine facility retrofit and having difficulties with my contractor. Mr. Geary stepped into the project and seamlessly corrected errors, brought in qualified engineers and saved me thousands of dollars.
